Two strategic VIP Days for a Cotswolds wedding florist
Sally is a wedding florist based in the Cotswolds, creating the most beautiful, large-scale floral designs. From soft, romantic bouquets to statement installations that completely transform a space.
She had already chosen the Samantha Kay Showit template by With Grace & Gold, which was a perfect fit for her style. It’s a very visual template, designed to let imagery do the talking, with lots of space and a clean, editorial feel.
But like a lot of business owners I work with, she had reached the point where she didn’t have the time to fully bring it together - especially with wedding season approaching.
She wanted a website that not only looked beautiful, but properly reflected the level of her work and made it easier for potential clients to understand the value of what she offers.
We focused on refining the template so it felt completely aligned with Sally’s brand, while also making sure it worked more effectively from a user experience point of view.
This included:
- Tweaking the homepage layout so it felt more intentional and guided
- Adding clear calls to action across every page
- Incorporating her signature floral icon subtly throughout the design
- Expanding and organising her galleries to better showcase her work
- Finalising and refining all on-page content
- Adding a matching iubenda cookie banner to ensure everything was set up correctly behind the scenes
Because while the template itself was already strong visually, it’s these smaller, strategic changes that make the biggest difference in how a website actually performs.
How we worked together
We completed this project across two VIP design days, which meant everything was done efficiently and without dragging the process out.
Sally was able to step back from the technical side of things and focus on her business, knowing everything was being handled, while still being involved in key decisions along the way.
The result
The finished website feels elevated, cohesive, and much more reflective of the level Sally is working at.
It showcases her work in a way that feels considered and premium, while also making it easier for potential clients to move through the site and take that next step.
It’s a great example of how starting with the right template can work really well — but it’s the customisation and refinement that turns it into something that truly supports the business behind it.
