a complete overhaul of Sara's website
Sara Mack came to me after she saw one of my Instagram posts that resonated with her. Sara is a wedding planner based in Pennsylvania and she knew that her website wasn't keeping up with the level of the services she gives to her couples on their wedding day.
We started with my Laurel template which I originally designed with wedding planners, wedding venues and bridal hair & makeup artists in mind. The template itself gave us a really strong foundation - clean, spacious and designed to guide couples through the kind of information they're usually looking for when they land on a wedding planner's website.
From there, it was all about making it feel Sara.
Sara already had such a clear sense of her brand, and the experience she offers her couples but her previous website wasn't quite reflecting that. It felt a little dated and not as aligned with where her business had grown to.
So we focused on refining everything, from the overall layout and flow of the pages, to how her services were presented, to making sure there were clear next steps throughout the site.
I worked through customising the Laurel template to make it feel just right for Sara, with a timeline of four weeks, which meant that Sara didn't have to try and figure it all out alongside running her business.
Instead, she could hand it over knowing it was being taken care of, and focus on everything else she had going on.
And the result?
The result is a website that feels much more aligned with Sara's brand, her work, and the level of service she provides.
It's something she now feels genuinely proud to share, and confident sending to potential clients knowing it reflects her and her business properly.
And just as importantly, it's been set up in a way that makes things feel easier on her side too, rather than feeling like another things to keep on top of.
