The good news is, you don’t always need a fully custom website to fix that.
Sometimes, starting with the right Showit template (and then customising it properly) can completely transform how your venue is presented online.
Below, I’ve shared a selection of Showit website templates that work beautifully for wedding venues, along with exactly why.
A strong wedding venue website should:
I see this all the time. Venues with incredible spaces, but their website doesn’t quite do it justice.
And that’s usually not about the venue itself, but about how it’s being presented.
Give a clear first impression of your style and setting
Help couples quickly understand what kind of weddings you host
Showcase your spaces in a way that’s easy to visualise
Guide couples through the experience of a wedding day with you
Make it easy to enquire or book a viewing
Include key details like location, capacity, and what’s included

Best for: Elegant, countryside venues or venues with a romantic, natural feel
This is my own template, and it works particularly well for venues because it’s designed to be highly visual, while still keeping things structured and easy to navigate.
It gives you space to showcase your grounds, interiors, and real weddings without overwhelming the page, and it’s flexible enough to include things like brochures, FAQs, and viewing enquiries.
Adding clear sections for different areas of the venue, highlighting the full experience, and incorporating a strong enquiry flow.
Best for: Editorial, high-end venues
This template has a really refined, luxury feel and works beautifully for venues that want to position themselves at a higher price point.
It’s very image-led, which is perfect for venues with strong photography, and gives that “magazine-style” experience.
Adding more structure around the user journey, ensuring there are clear next steps, and building out pages for venue details and logistics.
Best for: Timeless, classic venues
This one has a really soft, elegant feel and works well for venues that want something clean and polished.
It’s simple in the best way, which means it’s easy to customise and adapt to your venue.
Enhancing the storytelling, adding sections for real weddings, and making the enquiry process more prominent.
Best for: Image-led venues with strong portfolios
This is a beautiful, highly visual template that works really well when you have a lot of strong imagery to showcase.
It allows the photography to do the talking, while still giving enough structure to guide couples through your site.
Adding more direction through the pages, incorporating CTAs, and ensuring it’s not just a gallery but a full experience.
Best for: Modern, fun, or destination venues
This template has a much more playful, bold feel. Perfect for venues that want to stand out or have a more relaxed, contemporary vibe.
It’s great for venues that don’t want to feel overly traditional.
Refining the layout so it still feels clear and easy to navigate, while keeping the personality.
One of my recent projects was working with The Orchard at Munsley - a tipi wedding venue set in a beautiful apple orchard in Herefordshire.
Their previous website didn’t fully showcase the experience of the venue, especially as the tipis aren’t up all year round. So we used the Laurel template and focused on making the website far more visual and immersive.
We added drone footage, expanded the imagery, and structured the pages so couples could clearly understand what their day could look like there, even if they were viewing out of season.
We also created a brochure to support enquiries and give couples something to take away when they come to Inspiration Days at the venue.
Choosing a template is a brilliant starting point.
But turning it into a website that actually reflects your venue, attracts the right couples, and supports your bookings…that’s where the real work comes in.
This is what I help with.
Whether you’ve already chosen a template or you’re not sure where to start, I can help you:
Customise your Showit template so it feels completely aligned with your venue
Improve the structure and flow of your website
Make sure your site is guiding couples towards enquiring
Create a website you feel confident sharing
With over 14 years experience working in the wedding industry, I know exactly how to take a Showit template and transform it into a strategic, personality-packed site that guides couples from their first click right through to your enquiry form.
I offer template customisation, VIP design days, and fully custom website design depending on what you need.
As much or as little as you want. This is a done-for-you service but I'll need your input on:
- Your branding (colours, fonts, imagery) and copy
- Information about your services
- Revisions of homepage design & full website design
- The rest is handled by me as much as possible.
Yes! For example, we can set up a branded cookie banner for legal purposes or write and design additional pages. We’ll talk it through on our initial discovery call.
Showit is a great option for wedding venues because it allows for complete design flexibility, which is ideal for image-led websites.
Yes! With the right customisation, templates can work incredibly well for venues. With space to share your packages, the right imagery and the experience your venue offers for couples.
I handle the design side of things and set up your template with SEO best practices in mind but my template customisation service or custom web design doesn't include copywriting & SEO.
However, I have partnered with Jennie Hawkins Copywriter on our Flagship Website Experience which includes website design (from me!), and strategic SEO and custom copy from Jennie.
You choose a template (either one of mine, or another Showit designers), then I'll send you a Google doc detailing all the information I need from you (copy, images, fonts, colours, branding) and I strategically input all of that information into the template for you, creating a semi-custom website suited to your business.

Not always. Many venues start with a template and then invest in customisation to make it work for their business. However, this will vary by venue depending on your requirements and I do offer custom web design if you'd like go down that route.
Your website shouldn’t just sit there looking nice, it should be helping you attract the right couples, showcase your venue properly, and make enquiries feel easy.
If it’s not quite doing that yet, book a discovery call with me to see how I can help.
